Chef Raya has explored the world, pursuing the most nutrient dense superfoods and culinary techniques to generate the premier diet for optimal health and performance. Following over half a decade in San Francisco’s luxury hotel and restaurant industry, chef Raya transitioned into the holistic health world, spending the next 5 years criss-crossing the globe. International stints at yoga retreats and detox centers culminated with a year in South Korea observing the sacred practices of Buddhist Temple Food. Upon her return to America, chef Raya developed her signature method of raw fusion cuisine, integrating traditional temple food practices with locally grown California ingredients. In 2010, her inventive culinary style garnered national acclaim on the Food Network’s “Great Food Truck Race 2,” placing her at the forefront of a health food revolution.

Chef Carli has been a culinary force in the Orange County community for over a decade. Beginning her career at the world reknown Charlie Palmer of South Coast Plaza and excelling as executive chef of Old Vine Cafe, chef Carli has gone on to forge a reputation as one of the most talented young chefs in Southern California. With international stretches in Italy and Copenhagen, chef Carli has a firm foundation in local, organic ingredients. Years of building gourmet, multi-course wine paired menus has instilled chef Carli with the talent to create the ultimate dining experience.

||As a culinary team, Chefs Raya and Carli have cooked throughout the world, from the jungles of Thailand to the shores of Croatia, and most recently a Michelin starred restaurant in Copenhagen. With a culinary philosophy firmly rooted in organic cuisine, Chefs Raya and Carli are swiftly changing the slow food landscape of Southern California. Their joint culinary experiences have lead to the conception of AniccA, which utilizes organic produce grown on local urban farms and responsibly sourced proteins all prepared in a low waste, scratch kitchen.
